mys·ti·cal /ˈmistək(ə)l/

inspiring a sense of spiritual mystery, awe, and fascination; relating to ancient religious mysteries or other occult or esoteric rites; concerned with the soul or the spirit, rather than with material things.

It seems undeniable to me that our world is on the precipice of an enormous shift. Not an unprecedented one, since Life and specifically life on earth have known great changes before, but one that is surely unlike anything we have seen in our lifetimes.

The shift I sense is all-encompassing: no area of our Human experience will be untouched. This shift will change the way that we work; the way that we heal; the way that we govern; the way that we raise children; the way that we relate—to each other, ourselves, the earth, even God. But all of this change is merely a reflection of a much deeper transformation.

As any mystically inclined person knows, the manifest is rooted in the unmanifest, being springs forth from non-being, and everything that will exist physically one day exists Now as an idea.

This Great Change is coming to us because the idea of Humanity is changing.

The images that seek expression through our lives are moving on from this story, and beginning the next. And our new story is so drastically different from the one we’ve been living in that in order to comprehend it, we must develop new language.

Language is a reflection of our mental scaffolding: our beliefs and opinions; our personal truths; the perspective that forms the filter through which we experience the world.

In order to evolve, we need a scaffolding that will support new beliefs, new truths, new perspectives. As we receive glimpses of what might be—visions both foreign and fantastic—we need the grounding power of language. To name something is to make it real, and we must be able to speak about things uncreated if we are going to create them.

The mystic focuses inward on these unseen, unnamed visions. Through contemplation, surrender, devotion and reverence, the mystic learns how to approach the Mystery, and bring what they are shown back into the manifest world. That is my Work: to dive into the nonmaterial realms, catch glimpses of what is going on beneath the surface, and then find language to carry that information back into our shared Reality.

At this time of intense transformation, I also feel called to help restore this mystical connection that we all have to the Unseen.

Due to the story of the last age, many people live today without a conscious connection to the invisible world of energies in which we all swim. I believe that nurturing a connection to this transcendent realm is tremendously important during this pivotal moment in Humanity’s evolution for two reasons: (1) Being anchored in something deeper than the rapidly shifting physical reality is a necessity for peace; (2) The invisible, unmanifest realm is the true Source of all, and having a conscious connection to your Source is the foundation for sovereignty and self-expression, which this new story is all about.

By using and advancing languages of individuation (ex. astrology, human design, the gene keys) and the archetypal realm (ex. mythology, tarot, dream), I will open portals that others may use to form their own connections with the Unseen; to see what is developing beneath the surface of Reality for themselves; and to create new ways of Being in response to their personal inner knowing.

The world that we’ve lived in doesn’t have to be the world that we die in. It doesn’t have to be the world that we leave behind for those who come after us.

We, perhaps more than any other generation of humans, have a chance to completely rewrite the story that our species is telling.

We have the power to redefine what it means to be human.

And, from my perspective, it all starts with our ability to look beyond what is, and see what could be; to peer into the heart of Humanity and bear witness to what is ready to be born.
